In short: your shop's data belongs to you. We use it only to run the service: recording sales, syncing across your devices, and showing your reports. We don't sell your data.

On employee devices, cached customer details are encrypted on the device itself, and signing out wipes that local data completely.

Product analytics is on by default: Menim collects limited usage analytics (which features are used, and how often) through PostHog, our analytics provider hosted in the EU, to improve the product and keep it reliable. Events travel through our own domain. Each event carries only internal ids, setting flags, and counts tied to a random on-device identifier stored in your browser's local storage. This identifies the device, not you: we never include names, email addresses, phone numbers, prices, amounts, or the contents of your sales or customer records. We do not track which pages you visit, and we do not record your screen.

Your browser's Do-Not-Track setting always keeps analytics off. You can turn analytics off below at any time; turning it off stops future collection and clears the on-device identifier. Analytics already collected stays until your account or employee profile is deleted.

When your account or employee profile is deleted, we also ask PostHog to delete the matching analytics profile and its events. Event history is otherwise kept only as long as needed to improve Menim. For a copy or deletion of your data, contact us at menim@weamp.org.
